The Gila Community Forum has recently drifted into irrelevance, ignorance and right-wing ideology. This has occurred primarily because disruptive elements have been allowed into the forum, in conjunction with misguided efforts to turn the Forum into a privately-held business. The Forum was always created for and specifically and explicitly given over to the local sustainable, progressive, non-violent and alternative communities. It has now been taken over by just two people and is being dominated by the right-wing hate and ideology they have both allowed and encouraged. These developments have repulsed and chased off most of the people who once participated in, cared for, and financially supported the Community Forum. There is little activity on the Forum these days, and what there is is mostly right-wing ignorance, prejudice and hate, along with a small amount of classified activity and ongoing misinformed, regressive and failing efforts to turn the Forum into a so-called local news outlet.
For as long as they last on the Forum these postings give some perspectives regarding what the Forum was once about.
